Acquesi Casarito Moscato d’Asti DOCG 2019
Our neighbours invited us the other day for dinner. So we went out to them for a nice evening with wining and dining. At the moment the dessert course was making their entrance, my neighbour put this Acquesi Casarito Moscato d’Asti on the table which he had bought by a local liquor store hereby.
The wine is coming from the wine house of Acquesi, placed in the village of Acqui. The winemaker is best known for the production of Muscat wines. The winemaker gives a great importance to quality with their muscat wines. Probably they do this very well, because this Moscato d’Asti is an award-winning wine and this confirms the hard work they are doing for there wines. Over the last couple of years it received the following awards:
– Golddiplom, Expovina Internationale Weinprämierung Zürich 2017
– Gold Medal, Concours Mondial des Féminalise Paris 2018
– Bronze Medal 88 points, Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) London 2019

My Notes:
So let’s take a look at the wine and what my opinion is about this Moscato d’Asti.
I enjoyed this muscat wine very much. It’s an elegant and fresh wine. Soft and sweet in the mouth with a little pleasant bubble. A nice fruity wine with notes of peach, pear, lemon and maybe some mango. Further, this wine is creamy and honey.
