Bread & Butter Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Bread & Butter Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Bread & Butter Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 is this week’s wine. The first wine on our website from the United States. I’m always looking to find wines from new regions to try out, so when I saw this Cabernet Sauvignon from California I had to pick it up.

The wine is matured in both French and American oak barrels, but unfortunately Bread & Butter don’t specify for how long. Further, we can’t find much additional information, which means that we just continue to the most important part regarding a wine review, the actual taste. But before that here are some facts about the wine.

Type: Red
Wine: Bread & Butter Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Producer: Bread & Butter

Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon
Colour: Deep Ruby
Price: €15,00

My Notes:

Not it’s time for the tasting notes! This is a delicious red wine, there is blueberry, plum, blackberry, mocha, vanilla and some oak. I get smoke, cherry, pepper, balsamic, leather, fig, toast and raisin. I combined this wine with some smoked meat and it paired very well. This was my first Cabernet Sauvignon from California and hopefully not my last!
