C.V.N.E. Seleccion De Fincas Reserva 2019

The name C.V.N.E. is the abbreviation of the name Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España. Two brothers were on a trip for health reasons and at that moment they created C.V.N.E in the iconic Barrio de la Estación railway station when the two brothers arrived in Haro in 1879. Over the years the family winery is now in its fifth generation.

C.V.N.E has expanded massively over the years. They currently have got seven wineries in Spain. These wineries produce a wide variety of wines. Despite its growth, the winery has maintained its profound respect for tradition while incorporating innovative processes and a commitment to its environment, with environmentally sustainable viticulture and excellent quality wines.

My Notes:

A good drinkable Tempranillo wine from C.V.N.E. The wine got a lot of oaky notes like tobacco, chocolate and a hint of vanilla. Further on the palate a lot of dark fruit, blackberry and plum. Other notes are raisin, cherry, some earthy notes like leather, and a hint of pepper. A nice 3.5 Grape Dummies Score!
