Cabalié Blanc 2019

Cabalié Blanc 2019

Last year around this period Ryan posted a review of the Cabalié Cuvée Vieilles Vignes 2018. A red wine from Cabalié. This time it’s time for me to review a white wine from the Cabalié winery. The Cabalié Blanc is made from 75% Voignier, 20% Colombard and 5% Muscat Blanc. As Ryan already mentioned in his article about Cabalié, unfortunately, there isn’t much info about the winery and neither a social account. From Vivino, we learn that this Cabalié wine has got 5 mentions on the Concours International de Lyon. Further, we only have to do it with the bottle. So let’s pour the glass!

My Notes:

So lovely! A nice round and not so heavy. Nice soft and very comfortable in the mount. The wine is a really exploding bomb of flavours. Notes of peach, pear, melon, citrus, some grapefruit, I even mention some tropical fruits. A slight touch of vanilla and a little bit buttery, honey and creamy on the end. Nice price-quality. If you have the chance to buy it, I’ll recommend it! A nice 4.0 grapedummies score. Enjoy!

What says Vivino about this wine:

Cabalié is a blended wine of which we couldn’t find an exact vineyard. But it’s supposed to come from the town of Maury. If you know the exact address feel free to contact us.
