Calmel & Joseph Amstramgram Alttitude 2018 – Tasting Journal
In this journal we are going to taste a white wine from the Languedoc-Roussillon region in France. It’s a wine from the makers Laurent Calmel & Jérôme Joseph. The Alttitude wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from cool, high-altitude vineyards in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. This wine got three months of wood ageing. My Notes:
What a nice white this is. I tasted this wine in combination with pizza and it was a great match. A beautiful Deep Gold colour in the glass with notes of tropical fruits, citrus and melon. I loved the nice balance in the mouth, very good taste. This is really a white to order again!
