Today we taste the Cellier des Princes Côtes du Rhône Hérédita 2018, a Cuvée made from old vines of Grenache blended with 30% of Syrah. The vineyards are located around Châteauneuf du Pape. The motto of this wine is NOVE SED NON NOVA. Not new material, but a new way!
This wine is aged for 8 months in stainless steel vats before being released. Time to taste!

My Notes:
Nice blend of Grenache and Syrah from the Côtes du Rhône. A nice earthy wine, with notes of plum, pepper, balsamic, oak, vanilla and raspberry. Further some raisins, blackcurrant and fig. Leather, strawberry and cinnamon to finish it off. Enjoyable wine!
