Cimarosa Smooth & Full Bodied Sauvignon Blanc 2018
We received this wine as a birthday present. The other day we planned a sushi evening at home and we would try this one as a matching pair.
It’s a white wine from New-Zealand in the region of Marlborough. Cimarosa is the importer/winery from this type of wine. Cimarosa offers wines from a wide range of wine countries. They have vineyards in Chili, Australia, South Africa etc. and their HQ is based in Chili. Here in the Netherlands, this wine is only available at the supermarkets from the Lidl.

My Notes:
In my opinion this a flat white wine with a superficial taste. Not really my type of white wine with and hasn’t got a distinct taste. The wine has notes of citrus, grapefruit and tropical fruits with a bitter on the end. The price is nice, but it will stay by this one occasion. A half star extra because of the price.
