Cono Sur Bicicleta Reserva Unoaked Chardonnay 2021
The company of Cono Sur Vineyards & Winery was founded in 1993. A pretty young company in the world of winemaking, but with a huge reputation already. Their vision is to produce premium, expressive and innovative wines that convey the spirit of the new world. The company distinguishes itself by three key aspects; technology, quality and respect. The name Cono Sur refers to the geographic position and represents wines which are made in South America´s southern cone.
Cono Sur has expanded the boundaries of viticulture and winemaking in Chile, introducing widely unknown varieties to the country of Chile. in 1995 they were the first winery in South America to use synthetic corks. In 2002 they were the first Chilean winery to use screwcaps with aromatic white wines, with the reason to keep a wine young, fresh and oxidation-free. An innovation company.

My Notes:
Just a normal and good Chardonnay wine. It’s a little bit buttery, but I like a Chardonnay more when it’s clear of butter and honey. Further on this wine is nice round with some freshness. Notes of citrus, lime and grapefruit. Also mango, pineapple and melon. A little bit of vanilla. For me a 3.5 GrapeDummies score.
