Costers del Prior 2015
Whenever I can I take a look for any interesting wine offers and when I found out that a local supermarket was selling some wines with 50% discount I had to check it out. My eyes fell right away in this Priorat.
Priorat is one of my favourite wine regions, and this Costers del Prior was from 2015, a nice older vintage. The wine is made of Garnatxa and Carignan grapes with a small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon added into the blend. It is furthermore matured for twelve months in French oak casks. Let’s see if this was a good find!

My notes:
Right up my alley, flavourful Priorat! Licorice, pepper, dark chocolate all married with plum, raisins, cherry, blackberry, and oak. I also get leather, fig, prune, with a touch of anise and violet. I picked this wine up with a 50% discount to sell it out, I might go back to check if they have more, I really enjoyed this.
Grape Dummies Score!
