Gebrüder Nittnaus Grüner Veltliner Selection 2019
In this review we are going to review a Grüner Veltliner. This wine lays a little while in my cellar and was a award winning wine in Berlin. So that got my intention to check this wine out and according to some reviewers in the Netherlands it’s should be worth it. What also caught my intention was the ABV, for all Grüners I reviewed and drank so far they all got around 12% ABV.
The winery of the brothers Nittnaus is layed in the middle of Gols, Burgenland in Austria and is runned by the brothers Andreas and Hans Michael. In this area the family owns vineyards for more than 300 years. We love what we do is the first thing you read when you visit the website of Nittnaus. On their website we can read that the brothers have totally different interests but therefore they complement eachother perfectly. And that’s also why they separated the responsibilaties in the winery. Hans Michael is responsible for the cellar and Andreas is responsible for the sales.

My Notes:
A nice fresh and nicely round wine. Not high in acidity and very generous in the finish. Rich boquet of tropical fruit, peaches, honey and a touch of anise. Little bit creamy. Very harmonious wine. Looking for a Grüner Veltliner? We recommende this one, especially for its price/quality.
