Henkell Blanc de Blancs Dry-Sec N.V.
My wife would like to try some different than white or red. Her eye caught this Henkell wine in the supermarket and popped this one open when we had some quest.
This Sparkling wine is produced by Henkell in Germany. It’s not exactly clear from which grapes this sparkling wine is made. Henkell says on their website: “Cuvee, based on four grapes, only whites from traditional wine-growing regions, one is Chardonnay.” So we can’t even say from which region this wine exactly is, but the wine is bottled in Germany.

My Notes:
It’s a light-sweet wine. It needs to be very cold to make it a reasonable wine. The wine looses very fast it’s bubbles. A fruity wine with notes of pear, apple and peach, some citrus and lemon. A little bit creamy and a slight touch of honey. Just for onces. Not for a second time.
