Laurent Brotte Grand Vallon Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2019
Time for a new Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine for a review. It’s been a while ago since the latest review about a Châteauneuf-du-Pape. An interesting wine blend for centuries and still very popular.
Wine has been an important part of the Brotte family’s life for two centuries. Maison Brotte was officially created in 1931 when Charles Brotte freshly graduated from a business school in Marseille, decided to set up his own company in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The Brotte family owns three wine domaines, three contrasting terroirs in the Southern Rhône Valley. For a full story of their history, we recommend you to read their website.

My Notes:
What a nice Châteuaneuf-du-Pape this is. A great wine with an interesting bouquet of flavours. Mostly red fruit like cherry, but also blueberry. Further notes of leather and chocolate. Some vanilla. A powerful wine, but not heavy and full of finesse. A great 4.0 Grape Dummies Score!
