Le Brognole Rosso Verona 2020
For my last review of 2021, I would like to end with a wine from Le Brognole. Earlier this year we already informed you about the wines from Le Brognole in our stories on Instagram. My sister-in-law went to La Garda, Italy, and bought a box of 11 wines for me. Before I have all wines tasted, we are a little bit further into the year. That’s why I make this first review of a Le Brognole wine, to give them some attention.
After I received the 11 bottles of wine. I contacted the Le Brognole shop and asked them if they could inform me about their vineyards and winemaking process. They made a nice summary about their vineyard and a lot of information. Information I want to share later in the complete review of Le Brognole. For now we only concentrate on the Rosso Verona 2020 version.

My Notes:
The Rondinella grape is a new grape for me, that I didn’t taste before. The first thing I immediately noticed is the very light colour in the glass, as you can see in the image. It is a very smooth and light wine. Notes of oak, tobacco, a hint of vanilla and spicy on the nose. Further notes of smoked food and a lot of red fruit, like red berries and raspberry. The wine is good in the tannins and a medium length on the finish. A 3.5 GrapeDummies score! Enjoy!
