Maestro Italiano Gran Maestro Appassimento Rosso 2019
Today we’re going the review a first in a series of three from the Maestro Italiano Gran Maestro series. When I did my last order on Vivino I didn’t even notice that I had ordered three wines from Maestro Italiano. At the moment the delivery arrived I mentioned and thought immediately that is nice for a series to review, so in the forthcoming weeks, you’re going to see two reds and one white from this winery.
The Cielo winery is based in Italy in the region of Puglia and one of the latest discoveries from winery Cielo is the Gran Maestro series. They made a series of 3 wines with an exceptionally good price-quality ratio, according to their website and we are going to taste the price-quality. The Cielo e Terra winery was founded in 1908 by a group of wine producers with the same interests. They had only one goal and that was to make good wines for a fair price. We will see if they succeeded!

My Notes:
A nice deep ruby colour. There is a nice beautiful bouquet of ripe red fruit, plum, prunes, raisins, and chocolate. Further notes of cherries, blackberry, vanilla, and cacao. Soft and little bit flat taste in the mouth and a medium length on the finish. A good value for money. So not a bad one and this is just the first of 3 reviews. A 3.5 Grapedummies score!
