Marques de Lara Vinho Verde 2021
In the Netherlands, the Aldi supermarket often has a wine special. With well-reviewed wines by a renowned sommelier from the Netherlands. Not too expensive wines for a high quality. So when I was in the Aldi the other day, I bought this wine.
Marques de Lara is a sub-brand of Casa de Vila Nova. The history of Casa de Vila Nova goes back to the end of the 1970s. In 1986 the vineyards were totally reconverted and the owner made an investment in new technology. Casa de Vila Nova is positioned in the vinho verde market. Its mission is to offer great quality for a great price.

My notes:
A nice wine from Portugal. Fresh and fruity with good acidity. The wine has got notes of citrus and lemon. Also notes of tropical fruit like pineapple. Further notes are peach and a little bit creamy on the finish. The finish is medium long. For this price a good wine. For me a 3.5 Grape Dummies Score. Enjoy!
