Piera Martellozzo Pietra di Pinot Grigio 2021

Piera Martellozzo Pietra di Pinot Grigio 2021

On an evening with the neighbours, one of my neighbours came with a white wine. This Pinot Grigio from Piera Martellozzo. Something to try and review.

A historical family winery from generation to generation. At the beginning of 1899 Giovanni founded the winery of Piera Martellozza. His son Mario developed the winery even more. Now is in the hands of Mario’s daughter Piera, for over twenty-five years and supplying their wines under different labels.

My Notes:

It’s a fresh medium-bodied wine with a lot of tree fruit, like pear and apple. Also some notes of peach and citrus. Good on the minerals. Medium on the acidity. In the end, the wine stays a little bit flat. For me, it doesn’t come higher than a 3.0 Grape Dummies Score!
