Pierre Lamy Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2017

Pierre Lamy Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2017

Châteauneuf-du-Pape remains an established name within wining. As earlier mentioned my dad and I are fans of this style of wine. And from time to time we try to open a bottle with dinner or a special occasion.

Unfortunately, there is nothing to find about this winemaker on the internet. Also on the label, we can’t find some nice information about the winery to share. In this case, we have to leave it by this small introduction and take a quick look at the facts of this Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

Facts:

Type: Red
Wine: Pierre Lamy Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2017

My Notes:

A nice Chateauneuf-du-Pape, but not extraordinary. A nice medium purple colour in the glass. The wine has got a nice bouquet of ripe dark fruits, like blackberry, black cherry and plum. Further notes of cloves, leather, oak, some vanilla and some spiciness in the finish. The finish is medium in length. Full-bodied. Not very strong on the tannins and it had a bit of fresh acidity. For me a 3.5 Grape Dummies Score!

Grape Dummies Score:

3.5 Grapes
