Raimat Abadia Tinto 2020

This week I taste another wine from my “Home” DO. Costers del Segre. The Raimat Abadia Tinto 2020. Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo blended together.
Earlier I tasted Raimat El Silenci del Molí 2016, which I really enjoyed, so let’s see what this wine has in store for us.

My notes:
This is a pretty good Spanish blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo. There is balsamic, oak and cherry. But also more earthy notes with clove, prune and coffee. Plum, cheese, smoke and some licorice. Strawberry, leather and tobacco. I was pleasantly surprised by this wine
