Tiefgang Kalkstein Riesling Trocken 2020
A local restaurant offers from time to time a menu for pick-up. This time they offered Tom Kha Kai soup and my wife ordered. For me the moment to search for an appropriate wine. And so I choose this Riesling wine from the Pfalz in Germany.
The Lergenmüller family is known as a specialist in wines. The winery dates back to 1538. And due to a lot of investment in the last years, they are at the top of the current market. A well-known wine family who describe themselves as the specialist for bold, internationally competitive red wines and elegant Burgundy wines. That in combination with the winemaker’s expert work makes these wines truly special, according to the Lergenmüller website.

My Notes:
What a very nice and delicate wine. It was an appropriate wine for the soup, it really paired well. The wine has got tree fruit notes like apple and melon. Some earthy notes like honey. Good minerals. A little bit of citrus and a little bit of creamy. A very nice 4.0 Grape Dummies Score!
