Trivento Reserve Malbec 2019
A couple of weeks ago I already give this wine a try and because of the pleasant surprise, I bought this wine again. This time so I could make a review about this Malbec wine.
Bodegas Trivento was founded in 1996. A very young company that works according to the latest techniques, and is hypermodern. The company name is named by the three winds that are blowing over Argentina; the Polar, Zonda and Sudestada. Together they form the Eolo, according to mythology, the god of the wind. This wind is also responsible for the beautiful climate in Mendoza for viniculture. This wind takes care of the needed cool down, so the grapes can ripe slowly by pleasant temperatures, so they can ripe also at night.

My Notes:
I don’t know why I don’t drink more Malbec wines. As you all know I’m a big fan of Primitivo, but what a lovely grape the Malbec is. This wine pleased me very much, even like the Tilia Malbec I drink last year. Where I already mentioned that I should drink more Malbec. Good looking medium purple colour. Beautiful nice red plum, blackberries, a hint of vanilla, some chocolate, tobacco, and nice red fruits. Nice soft tannins. A nice balance with a medium-length finish.
